As a user of Galaxy i want to be able to rename tags i have already assigned to games. This would make organizing games cleanly a lot easier especially when changing the way the games in the library are organized.

I googled the function because I couldn't find any option leading me to it, turns out it doesn't even exist. Shameful-

I tried to manually edit SQLite database C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\galaxy-2.0.db and change tag names stored there, but upon launching GOG Galaxy client all changes get overwritten. Is there a way to suppress remote sync and take local DB as a source of truth on launch?

Most people have wanted this for years now and it's just fallen on deaf ears.
TBH They stopped working on GOG 2 in any major way shortly after release. It's been very infrequent small changes. Almost like maintenance mode

Agreed. I'm very surprised that editing tag names isn't already built into the software; It seems like it would be standard, and something that almost every user would want to be able to do, from time to time.
