Hazard09 A classic RPG game from Blizzard, released in 1996. Play as a warrior, rogue, or sorcerer (in the Hellfire expansion you can play as a monk) on a quest to rid Tristram of Diablo, a Lord of Hell. In Diablo 2, sequel released in 2000. you can choose your player class as either an amazon, necromancer, barbarian, sorceress, or paladin (plus druid and assassin in the expansion) and embark on a journey to Hell itself and destroy Diablo, this time for good.

Robbio44 I agree with ETA. I would want Hellfire to be available on GOG. I have the other 2 games as well: D2+ LOD and D3.ALL are good games in their own right. The one game has what the other 2 don't. That's what is good about the Diablo series. Now, where is that Hellfire Expansion:)

Vatras65 I am all for a modernised Diablo 2. It was the best they made imho. It had the item sets, the horadric cube and the runewords, allowing for a lot of collecting and combining.

Iothil Nothing that will ever happen. Diablo, warcraft and many more other franchises that will be outlicensed after the owning companies die, not a second before. They still make money off it and are way too greedy to provide anyone but themselves the chance to make that money.

Saamat illiminator31 is right - Blizz circulates its games all by itself. Since D2 is still available it won't happen. D1 highly unlikely as well but chances are better than in case of D2.

AkimboMyGherkin Better still, have DI and DII as expansions/DLCs that are to be ran by the DIII engine. Chance is pretty slim but it would be quite a nice semi-remastering of the old games to give gamers a serious semi.

maxi0361 It is good enough resolution, just need to stretch it to match 16:9 screen. Make sure the Glide-wrapper works.
scvarii The original Diablo needs to be added to GOG if Blizzard refuses to support it themselves, but Diablo 2 has for years been available for download from Blizzard. Don't bother with that one or this wish list for that matter. There is already a wish added for the original Diablo.
And to be honest I could care less about Hellfire. I played Diablo the year it came out and to this day have no interest in playing Hellfire (or Rogue either for that matter :P)

Coodu It would be awesome, but the games are available (almost) DRM free from Blizzard's website - CD key checks only. With the new patches for modern OS' for W3 and D2, I can see them putting them on their own client before other services.
