RobinhoMilGrau @WickedKinetic If EA doesn't want to re-release The Sims Complete Collection on GOG, at least on this wishlist, there is an opportunity to try to get EA to re-release the game on another store (not that I believe EA will). Either way, it's not hard to try and get EA to re-release the game with this wish list. Now, it is not impossible that, if the game is re-released again, its re-release will be on GOG, as older games than this, from EA/Maxis, such as SimCity 2000, Simcity 3000 and Simcity 4, are available here on GOG.
WickedKinetic Sad fact is EA (like the rest of the big AAA publishers) won't ever remove such DRM restrictions / locks from their games no matter how old they get. It's wishful thinking but maybe spreading these wishlist requests to big social media sites & publisher's own contact sites would gain more traction?

RobinhoMilGrau Unfortunately, it seems that as long as the bad game, with absurd and expensive dlc's from The Sims 4 is still profitable (and this is the fault of the game's buyers), this desire will be ignored by EA, as this desire/request existe since 2012 , is one of the most voted on GOG, and nothing happened for The Sims Complete Collection to go back on sale (everything I wrote in this comment applies to The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection too).

LusciousToad I have the original Sims with all the expansions and can’t play them on Windows 10/11. Apparently, it has something to do with the DRM on those discs, Safer Disc it’s called, I think , which prevents it from running on Windows 10 and later.
It’d be so awesome if it was released on gog.com!

The soundtrack is still popular on YouTube, and I’ve read that a movie adaptation is in the works. There’s still a huge interest in this game. Please, GOG, bring it back! Don’t let this classic be forgotten...

AirForceBase The original game + all the expansions would be an instabuy at $60 total. I spent hours as a kid building the best house I could, but as a 12 year old, they were never good. The nostalgia alone would be fantastic.
slipd0g You gave us SimCity it would be rude not to add The Sims, at least The Sims 1 and 2 complete with the packs, since they are pretty much abandonware at this point and the only way to play the two games is to download illegally or hunt down the game discs along with all there DLC discs , it would be a insta buy for both games for me!

A lot of games will never be published in the gog store it is a fact! For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend DRM-free), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.
