Paddy The way they treated RedCandleGames makes me less than optimistic about this plea. GOG caved IMMEDIATELY to pressure from Chinese hostages of the Xi state - like within an hour of announcing "Devotion" coming to GOG - and actually apologised not to RCG, but to those offended by the announcement, and ignored the 100% supportive comments from non-Chinese users. We really don't stand a chance if it's between us and the CCP, GOG has already made that abundantly clear.
I haven't spent a dime on this site since that incident, and until they apologise to RedCandleGames and put "Devotion" back up on their site, I never will again. But suffice it to say, whether GOG gets formally bought out by one of those mammoth Chinese companies, their feeble anti-response to CCP whingers with regards to RCG makes it a moot point.
