This game was the entry point for me inside the Assassin's Creed world. Back in the day I remember watching YouTube videos promoting programs (mostly cheating mechanisms) for online games where the Ezio image from the AC: Brotherhood cover was included on the GUI of those so during some time I was thinking the game was garbage/scam like the programs which were mostly fake and didn’t work. But ooooohhhh booooyyy what I was missing... I tried the game, and I spent hours on it on my first playthrough, appreciating the graphics, the atmosphere, the soundtrack and the stealth killing. After I completed the AC: Brotherhood, I instantly played the AC: II, then AC: Revelations trailer dropped and bang I cried while watching the trailer (Ubisoft always did good on those since were always cinematics)! It was another awesome game, the satisfaction of having all the optional objectives achieved, the characters, the history of Ezio, Desmond and the Assassin's... Reaching the final missions from these games “Ezio Trilogy” always gave me goosebumps and some tears. No other game made me enjoy an open world like this one!

This was actually my first entry of the series I played on PC, and I fell in love with it. The story, filled with tragedy and interesting characters was always memorable to me (and the Ezio trilogy really puts things well together). The maps were amazing to climb around, jump the heights, and simply just explore. Both stealth and combat were fun, but what brought this game out was the introduction of the brotherhood of assassins. Being able to call onto them (and send them on missions) really made you connect with the Brotherhood. I even 100% the game (just don't talk to me about DaVinci's tank. Please...) The multiplayer component was also well made. Learning all the intricacies of masquerading as NPCs, and discovering other players then chasing them down always kept you on your toes. The mainstay of the series and my nostalgia-favourite. Deserves a GOG release.

MediEvil
MediEvilMediEvil is an action-adventure game developed by SCE Cambridge Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Originally released in 1998 for the PlayStation, the game follows Sir Daniel Fortesque, a skeletal knight accidentally resurrected to battle the sorcerer Zarok and save the kingdom of Gallowmere. The game takes place across a variety of levels, many of which require certain objectives to be performed to progress. Sir Daniel Fortesque can use a variety of weapons, consisting of close range weapons such as swords and clubs to long range weapons such as crossbows. Many of these weapons can be charged for a powerful attack and some weapons, such as the club, can be used to access areas that are otherwise inaccessible. When not possessing any items, Dan is able to rip his own arm off and use it for both melee and ranged attacks. Dan can equip a shield alongside weapons to defend against attacks; though they can only take several hits of damage before breaking. Throughout the game, Dan can visit gargoyle heads of two varieties; green ones offer Dan information while blue ones allow Dan to buy services or ammunition by using the treasures he finds. Dan's health is determined by a single health bar, which reduces when Dan is hit. It will deplete completely if Dan drowns or falls from a great height. If Dan completely runs out of health, the game will end. Dan can extend his maximum health by collecting Life Bottles, which will automatically refill his health bar if it drops to zero. Also hidden throughout the game are Life Vials and Life Fountains that can replenish Dan's health and fill up any empty Life Bottles Dan has. In each level, there is a hidden Chalice of Souls, which can be collected if the player fills it with enough souls from defeated enemies (some Chalices are awarded via other means). If the player clears a level with a Chalice in hand, Dan is warped to the Hall of Heroes, where he can speak to a legendary hero who will give him rewards, such as weapons. If the player finishes the game with all the Chalices, the game's true ending is revealed.

Gex: Enter the Gecko
Gex: Enter the Gecko"Is it just me, or am I engulfed in flames?" is one of the many one-liners uttered by Gex, a wise cracking gecko who should check himself into television rehab; he's addicted to it. After saving the Television Realm from the evil Rez in his first adventure, the gecko was ready to kick back, relax, and watch a little television. Little did he know his adventure was just beginning. One day, two secret agent goons showed up at Gex's doorstep. They inform him that Rez is back and looking for vengeance; the evil monster is planning to destroy the Television Realm once more...and possibly the world. When Gex tells them that he's retired and doesn't care, one of the goons hits the gecko on the head and takes him to a secluded place. When Gex comes to, the mystery men plead with the gecko to take the cash and help destroy Rez for good...or at least make him disappear. With that incentive (the cash), the wise cracking lizard slips into his special agent suit and plunges headfirst into the Television Realm. Watch out, Rez -- Gex is back!
