Follow our heroes on a journey in search for finer drinks and guns in a desolate landscape, where said journey might outgrow itself as time passes and new friends as well as enemies are met. And who knows? At the end of the journey maybe our heroes might find what they are looking for. And we might find out more about the mysterious chicken truck driver as well. All that aside, the post-apocalyptic setting with cars mounted with guns and witty, yet funny interactions between characters made this game very fun for me. It's a solid game.

I found this game when diving through old abandonware sites a few years ago, and WOW did this turn out to be a gem! The gameplay is unlike any other car combat game I had played previously, feeling like a hybrid between the driving in Halo mixed with the responsiveness of a twitchy FPS (think Half-Life or Quake). The single player campaign is a blast and has a phenomenal soundtrack to rock out to as you play. But the most standout feature to me was the multiplayer. A deathmatch in this game leaves no moments to breath, its action through-and-through and doesnt let up even for a moment. Even for those who don't generally enjoy car combat as a genre will find the FPS-adjacent feel to be extremely welcoming, as my siblings discovered as we played. In short, this is one of the best hidden gems I have ever played, I truly hope it gets brought forward into the modern day! Even better if the multiplayer could be expanded upon further to allow for a robust online community to form around it. And if does remain locked to abandonware, at least it works on modern systems with the patches available today

Heavy Gear II
Heavy Gear IIAs the leader of the special ops group Dark Talons, lead your squad mates on a series of dangerous missions as you discover the NEC plot against your homeland, Terra Nova. Operate behind enemy lines as you gather data, attack enemy camps, capture enemy leaders, take over space stations, and more. Combat happens on land, underground (huge caverns), and even in space. There are plenty of weapons to outfit your gear, even some hand-to-hand weapons. You can also add perks and flaws to further customize your gear. Stealth is a major concern in some missions. The game play feel is very different from the Mechwarrior series. Set in Dream Pod 9's Heavy Gear universe (it actually rivals the Battletech universe in complexity, though not nearly as famous), this game requires 3D accelerator with its "Dark" 3D engine. The gears are capable of very human-like movements, such as kneeling, crawling, and jumping.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty 4: Modern WarfareCall of Duty 4: Modern Warfare differs from previous installments of the Call of Duty series. Previous Call of Duty games have a distinct three country-specific campaign style, while Call of Duty 4 has a more film-like plot with interlaced story lines from the perspectives of Sgt. Paul Jackson of the Marines 1st Force Recon and Sgt. 'Soap' MacTavish of the British 22nd SAS Regiment.

An online multiplayer mode is included with the game, allowing up to 32 players to engage in both co-operative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting.
