Story:Day of the Tentacle, also known as Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle, is a 1993 graphic adventure game developed and published by LucasArts. It is the sequel to the 1987 game Maniac Mansion. The game's plot follows Bernard Bernoulli and his friends Hoagie and Laverne as they attempt to stop the evil Purple Tentacle — a sentient, disembodied tentacle — from taking over the world. The player takes control of the three and solves puzzles while using time travel to explore different periods of history. Dave Grossman and Tim Schafer co-led the game's development, their first time in such a role. The pair carried over a limited amount of elements from Maniac Mansion and forwent the character selection aspect to simplify development. Inspirations included Chuck Jones cartoons and the history of the United States. Day of the Tentacle is the eighth LucasArts title to use the SCUMM engine, and the company's first title to feature voice acting. The game was released simultaneously on floppy disk and CD-ROM to critical acclaim and commercial success. Critics focused on its cartoon-style visuals and comedic elements. Day of the Tentacle has featured regularly in lists of "top" games published more than two decades after its release, and aspects have been referenced in popular culture.Show more

One of my first LucasArts games that I got from the GoldGames magazine. Back then it was the german version, by now I switched to the english one. I actually didn't play MM1 extensivly, until this day I didn't finish it. DOTT did right what the old LucasFilm games did wrong. It was easily accessible and still maintained that humor which they are famous for. At some point I knew every aspect of the game by memory. I don't do speed runs, but since you basically can grab all items from the beginning, I was able to complete it within 40 minutes. First time it was a bit frustrating that I didn't find the professor after he went up the stairs. That said he will appear back in the basement if you complete a certain task. If you have all the necessary items already, you can just go back down and there he is.

Diabolik: The Original Sin
Diabolik: The Original SinDiabolik: The Original Sin is a gritty third-person adventure game blending the heritage of the pick-and-click genre with fast-paced action sequences and minigames. The original idea of the game is based on the story created by the sisters Angela and Luciana Giussani in 1962 and its comic books. The adventure game is set in an unusual world made of a curious mix between 3D real time graphics and 2D black&white comic style animation. In Diabolik’s skin, it won’t take too long to become a skilled thief and a master of disguise to rescue his beloved Eva. Diabolik is a criminal who likes luxury, expensive cars and robs to enrich himself, following his own morality.
