More than a story about Destination: Treasure Island, this is a story about the company Kheops Studio. In the relatively short-lived genre of pseudo-3D adventures, they showed an incredible inventive spirit, with creative puzzles, presentation and story-telling (even if these adventures are often not strongly focused on narrative, rather having a bigger emphasis on gameplay and storytelling).
As such, I am genuinely hopeful to get my hands on all of their games (some of which are fully dubbed in italian, my native language, with incredible talent on display). This one was well-regarded back in the day, and I hope to see it widely available for everyone to try it out.
It's also worth mentioning that this genre of adventures is basically non-existent nowadays, and I have a certain "historical" interest in seeing them preserved, restored and made available (when they aren't bad examples of the genre, as it can sometime happen).
