The Dirt series is well known as really good, weighty rally simulations, yet I found myself weirdly preferring its destruction derby spin-off. Maybe it was because the jerks who deliberately caused a 5-car pile-up in the main games always blamed the poor newbie while pulling the same thing in Showdown got them quickly humbled/discombobulated. It's one of many older Codemasters driving games sadly removed from digital stores (though still playable if you managed to grab them before then). Would be nice if they were given a new home for preservation.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 2
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 is a sports spin-off game in the Dead or Alive series and the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. The title expands upon the activities available in the original, supplementing beach volleyball with additional beach-related minigames. DOAX2 features a two-week vacation mode, where the player can indulge in a variety of activities. Each day is broken up into three segments (morning, afternoon, and evening), where players can perform a single activity during each. The game puts a strong emphasis on friendship; players must befriend the other girls by buying them gifts they enjoy from the various stores on the island, playing pool-hopping and playing butt battles. Doing so will increase the bond between the two characters.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach VolleyballDead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball is a beach volleyball game. The game is a departure from the rest of the Dead or Alive series which otherwise consists of fighting games. It also marks the first game in the series to have a Mature rating due to the very revealing swimsuits featured in the game and the suggestive poses the women present themselves in (which can be viewed and zoomed in on from almost any angle, as controlled by the player).

Wipeout 3 Special Edition
Wipeout 3 Special EditionWipeout 3 Special Edition isn’t just a slight improvement on Wip3out – it’s a full-blown greatest hits compilation. The highly refined futuristic racing gameplay is lifted directly from the third game, complete with idiosyncracies such as the boost button and weapons like the Force Wall, and its tracks, vehicles and music all come over too. However, there are some slight physics tweaks and two prototype tracks, previously exclusive to the Japanese version of the original game. Those aren’t the real story though – that honour belongs to the eight tracks lifted from previous WipEout games for the Classic League, three from the original and five from 2097. As well as offering the opportunity to play through classic races with the new vehicles and weapons, the Classic League displays the old locations with a new lick of paint, adding scenery and tidying things up to the standards expected of a PlayStation release in the year 2000.

Midtown Madness 3
Midtown Madness 3Midtown Madness 3 is an open world racing/arcade sequel, part of the Midtown Madness series. For the first time in the series, the game was released only on the Xbox, with a Windows version rumoured for later release, but ultimately scrapped.[citation needed] The game was developed by DICE (of Battlefield 1942 fame) and published by Microsoft Game Studios. This marked a change from the developer of the first two games, Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego). Coincidentally, Midtown Madness 3 was released in 2003 against Midnight Club II, created by the developer of the first two games, Rockstar San Diego. The Xbox-only release and change of developer heralded a significant graphical improvement to maintain the console's graphical standards.
