My all-time favourite RPG. Slow-paced classic gameplay in a wonderful world. Would be a great addition to the GOG library, the first Drakensang is already here.

I used to play this game back in the days a lot. The gameplay, story and world design together is pure nostalgia. For me playing this game feels like 'coming home' after hard day.
One of my favorite classic RPG games together with its predecessor. The game play may seems a bit slow compared to modern standards but therefore most of the quests are better written with better humor than in most modern games. I still have the original ROMs of both Drakensang games & the first one GOG. So why not add this too and make it easy playable again.

The first Drakensang was good, this prequel is brilliant. This is the closest I ever felt to replaying the old-school, heroic tabletop RPG's I used to love as a kid.

The follow-on to Drakensang. I found the River of Time to be more polished. It has great writing with decent graphics and combat. The world was a refreshing change from most fantasy RPGs. Character choice made a difference - play as a thief and raid the warehouse, play as a guard and stop the thieves from raiding that warehouse. The essential question for me is: Did I have fun playing the game? Yes, yes I did. I still have my disks and would love to play it again.
"Drakensang: The River of Time" is an underrated gem that deserves a place on GOG. It offers a fantastic RPG experience similar to NWN2 with a beautifully crafted world rich in lore and a unique low-magic setting based on the German "The Dark Eye" (Das Schwarze Auge) system. Since the first Drakensang is already on GOG, adding The River of Time and its expansion "Phileasson's Secret" would complete the series and allow more players to enjoy this great RPG. Hope to see it here soon! :)

Oriental Blue: Ao no Tengai
Oriental Blue: Ao no TengaiOriental Blue is an RPG from the Far East of Eden series. It has a unique magic system and different pathways the story can take depending on in-game choices. The game continues the tradition of the series. You play as either Tenran or Aoi, a teenage boy and girl, respectively, on quest to defeat the ancient evil that threatens the prosperous land of Jipang, to prove themselves worthy of the legendary Fire Clan, warriors who have been protecting Jipang for many generations from evil demons and warlocks. The land Jipang is very similar to medieval Japan, and during your adventure you'll also visit Mongolia, China, and other Asian countries. The most important new feature of the game is a non-linear storyline. You can tackle many missions in any order you want, and the storyline also changes depending on the outcome of major battles. If you lose against a boss enemy, the game is not over, but instead, a branching storyline path is revealed. Otherwise, the gameplay is similar to other Far East of Eden games, featuring overworld map traveling and first person perspective, turn-based combat.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
The Lord of the Rings: The Third AgeThe Lord of the Rings:The Third Age introduces entirely new characters which aren't mentioned in the books or movies. The game does relate to the movies by including scenes from all three movies, with new background speech by Ian McKellen (Gandalf). There are seven playable characters in the game which have been created specifically for it, as well a small appearances by characters such as Gandalf, Aragorn, Eowyn, Faramir, and Gothmog. The game covers events in all three movies/books, mostly with references to major events shown through cut scenes, or the scenes from the movies with Ian McKellan's narration. A classic RPG game, The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age has gameplay elements similar to Final Fantasy, where you have a party of characters, each with a different set of skills and attributes, who gain levels, making them stronger as the game progresses. Battles are turn-based, and let the gamer make different decisions on what they want to do to change the outcome of the battle. The game travels through many areas throughout Tolkien's Middle Earth, including The Pelennor Fields and Moria.

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.

Parasite Eve II
Parasite Eve IIParasite Eve II is an action role-playing survival horror video game released exclusively for the PlayStation. The game was developed by Square and published in Japan in 1999 and in both North America and, unlike the previous game, in PAL regions in 2000. It is the sequel to Parasite Eve and the second game in the series of the same name. Parasite Eve II is set several years after the events in the original game. The protagonist from the first game, Aya Brea, also features in this game as the playable character. She becomes involved with another outbreak of Mitochondrial creatures. Gameplay diverges from the previous game: battles take place in real time and the area of action is less restrictive. The approach is more typical of traditional survival horror games, although some role-playing elements are retained.
