Story:The late-1997 edition of FIFA was heavily tied in with the qualifying procedure for the 1998 World Cup. In the Road to the World Cup mode, you take a team from first qualification through to the main tournament, using the varying systems in different parts of the world. The game features 16 distinct outdoor stadia. The League play features 189 clubs and 11 leagues. Each team has specific crowd chants incorporated into the ambient sound.
The action is faster than in previous versions, and AI has been expanded. Players have distinct facial feature and hair styles. Each match is introduced by Des Lynam and commentated on by John Motson and former Scotland international Andy Gray.Show more

Oh my goodness. You have no idea how much I played this game after receiving a christmas gift copy of it. My parents came to hate the very idea of Fifa 98 after seeing how many hours I ploughed into it :) Along with Tomb Raider 2 this was my go-to-title in the late 90s, just an absolute joy to play with.
The music was amazing, Blur and others. The graphics, out of this world at the time. The controls, easy to learn (Ctrl + W for the Cruyff turn!). You had all the 200+ Fifa members available to play in qualifying and then you could play the World Cup 98 itself. Plus you had training mode, seasons from all major leagues and many people's favourite, the indoor games.
All in all, a fantastic game well worth the price. But please, only restore it if you can keep the original soundtrack intact, otherwise it's half the fun.

MTV Sports: SnowboardingMTV Sports: Snowboarding is an extreme sports game where you have to perform tricks on your snowboard. You can opt to play with one of six different boarders, with each their own abilities. The game features five game modes: qualifying, challenge, create-a-park, head-to-head and training. The qualifying mode offers three levels where you have to score enough points to unlock the challenge mode, where you can challenge other boarders in trick events or races. The create-a-park mode allows you to create your own track to play on. head-to-head allows you to play a multiplayer match against a friend. The available tracks come in four general types: mountain X, big air contest, half-pipe and slopestyle.

Unlike the previous three titles in the series, this game strays from just simply ATV's in it's roster of vehicles. Offroad Fury 4 introduces MX bikes, dune buggies, and trophy tricks into the mix. The game also differs from it's predecessors in that it includes long point-to-point tracks, which utilize streaming technology to immerse the player in a huge seemingly-endless world. The other notable departure from the previous titles is the inclusion of a career mode, which attempts to include a story between races using rendered cutscenes.
