**Why *Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition* Needs to Be on GOG and Why It’s Way Better Than It Was in 2021** When *Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition* launched in 2021, it faced heavy criticism for bugs, glitches, visual inconsistencies, and performance issues. However, in the years since release, Rockstar and Grove Street Games have steadily patched and improved the trilogy. Today, the collection is in far better shape—with enhanced visuals, more stable performance, and improved controls across all three games: *GTA III*, *Vice City*, and *San Andreas*. Bringing the trilogy to GOG would be the perfect way to reintroduce the improved version to PC players, especially those who value DRM-free ownership and long-term preservation. GOG’s platform is known for ensuring compatibility with future systems and allowing modding freedom, which would only further enhance the trilogy’s longevity and quality. The updated lighting, improved textures, reworked targeting and aiming systems, and smoother gameplay now make these games feel modern while retaining their nostalgic charm. While the 2021 version was a disappointment to many, the current state of the trilogy is a redemption story. It has become a worthy remaster that respects its source material while refreshing it for newer audiences. The games now play smoother, look sharper, and feel better than they did at launch—offering the definitive way to revisit these legendary open-world experiences. Releasing it on GOG would allow the trilogy to truly earn its place in PC gaming libraries, now that it lives up to its title: *The Definitive Edition*.

Bucky O'Hare
Bucky O'HareThis video game is based on the cartoon television series Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars under license from Hasbro, Inc. While it is generally classified as a scrolling fighting game, utilizing a Final Fight-esque landscape, the player's character is also armed with a laser gun, adding in elements of a scrolling shooter. However, if the character is extremely close to an enemy, he will throw out his fists to attack - a precursor to the characters featured in Metal Slug, who use knives in close combat. Much like the cartoon, Bucky O'Hare features colorful animation, and voice actors from the series were hired to participate in the game's cut scenes. The player chooses from five protagonists: Bucky O'Hare, the heroic rabbit captain of the space ship Righteous Indignation; Jenny, an "Aldebaran cat" and telepath; Dead-Eye Duck, a four-armed mallard; Willy, a kid from earth that replaced their engineer, and Blinky, a one-eyed android. As in the television series, the characters must stop the Toad Empire from invading extraterrestrial planets and enslaving their peoples; to do so they must shoot their way through an army of brainwashed toads to destroy their evil leader, a computer program known as "Komplex" and release the "Interplanetary Life Force." The enemies, among them Al Negator, Toadborg, Total Terror Toad, a "Cyborg Spider", the various varieties of Toad Storm Troopers, the Toads' Air Marshall, and "Komplex-2-Go" who featured in the comic book and cartoon series continuities.

Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom
Buck Rogers: Planet of ZoomSega released the arcade video game Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom in 1982. It was a forward-scrolling rail shooter where the user controls a spaceship in a behind-the-back third-person perspective that must destroy enemy ships and avoid obstacles; the game was notable for its fast pseudo-3D scaling and detailed sprites. The game would later go on to influence the 1985 Sega hit Space Harrier, which in turn influenced the 1993 Nintendo hit Star Fox. Buck is never seen in the game, except assumedly in the illustration on the side of the arcade cabinet, and its only real connections to Buck Rogers are the use of the name and the outer space setting. Home versions were released for the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari XE, ColecoVision, Coleco Adam, Intellivision, MSX and Sega SG-1000 video game systems, and the Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 64, Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, Apple II and ZX Spectrum computers. A version for IBM PC using CGA graphics was also available.

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Conker's Bad Fur DayHumorous action-platformer that does away with the tedious item collection found in most games in the genre. Instead, BFD employs a combination of standard jump, run and explore mechanics and context-sensitive gags and actions. For instance, in the beginning of the game, by pressing the B button on the first pad he encounters, Conker drinks some Alka-Seltzer to wipe out his hangover, at which point players can proceed forward. Later on these pads are used to activate a slingshot and throwing knives; to turn Conker into an anvil and drop downward; to shoot automatic, double-handed guns; to activate a The Matrix-inspired slow-motion effect and flip through the air shooting enemies; and much, much more.

Like the previous entries, Silent Hill 3 is a survival horror combining action-based combat and puzzle-solving, but is somewhat more combat-oriented than the preceding installments. The main character is able to side-step and block some attacks, but in general shares with the other protagonists of the series their relative ineptitude in combat.
