Genres:Role-playing (RPG), Hack and slash/Beat 'em up
Themes:Science fiction, Mystery, Drama

Story:.Hack//Quarantine is the fourth of a series of four games, titled .hack//Infection, .hack//Mutation, .hack//Outbreak, and .hack//Quarantine, features a "game within a game"; a fictional massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) called The World which does not require the player to connect to the Internet. Players may transfer their characters and data between games in the series. Each game comes with an extra DVD containing an episode of .hack//Liminality, the accompanying original video animation series which details fictional events that occur concurrently with the games. The games are part of a multimedia franchise called Project .hack which explores the mysterious origins of The World. Set after the events of the anime series .hack//Sign, the games focus on a player named Kite and his quest to discover why some users have become comatose as a result of playing The World. The search evolves into a deeper investigation of The World and its effects on the stability of the Internet.Show more

.hack unfortunately is the unloved middle child of Bandai Namco stuck between Digimon and SAO. The Sequel games from the "second season" of the .hack series were already remade, so it's only right to make these historic gems accessible...especially since the 25th Anniversary will be in a couple of years. Please just give these games a chance.
I'll never forget how excited I was to have started playing this game so long ago. What many felt at the end of "Avengers: Endgame" and the build up to it was the original .hack games for me. To see this large epic story come to a close, one that even to this day still gives me goosebumps, was both bitter (because it was over) and satisfying. It honestly was my "Man..." moment of gaming. I would love to see this series come back, and I really GOG will make that come true.
.hack//IMOQ is probably my favourite set of PS2 games and one of my favourite franchises to this date. The old MMO aesthetic of the four/five games is a relic of a bygone era of gaming, with oldstyle menus to flip through, different and elemental areas to test your strength, quests for rare items and volume exclusive companions, and loads of NPCs to both trade with. I would love to see this game be available on GOG 💙

This was one of the first rpgs I ever played, after pokemon. I fell in love with the world, the characters, the level grind, all of it. the .hack series has always had a special place in my heart and I've been dying to be able to play them updated for pc. In these uncertain times, this game would bring a real spark of joy to my life.
.Hack// Had such an intriguing story, that spanned various media, including videogames, anime, manga, and light novels. Unfortunately, .Hack// and it's story have been burried thanks to Bandai heavily promoting Sword Art Online. .Hack//IMOQ was one of the first games to really pique my interest in both anime and gaming! Now, as a streamer, I would love to show these games some love, and share these 4 games with my audience, because the series means that much to me, as i am unable to setup an emulator to play these games! Yes, it is a typical grindy RPG, but I found the story quite phenomenal, and still do to this day!

I already wrote what amounts to an fluffin essay about why i love these games (on the post for INFECTION) but.. honestly QUARANTINE, despite being the most expensive, is literally one of my favourite games of all time. It's the climax of the story and even while reading the book i was insanely pumped the entire time and even while playing the game... chill bumps. Everything i love about these games about the story was just brought to light here and it was just the best way to end it imo(q ɔƐ:). I absolutely love this game and the other three in the quadrillogy (or whatever the word is), but this one... this one is my absolute favourite. it is absolutely a damn shame how difficult it is to access these games these days. I hope that one day we all can enjoy them legally and without costing so much as they do today.

I can't express how much I want the whole IMOQ to be remade/remastered/re-released on PC. It just makes no sense that made the whole G.U and not IMOQ (I STILL LOVE G.U WITH ALL MY HEART, BUT I ALSO WANT IMOQ!) I'd 100% drop money for IMOQ if they re-released them on Steam x.x.
The final chapter of the four part Kite saga, definitely a necessity to find closure to his narrative. And granted we did get .hack//Another Birth which is the same story told from Black Rose's point of view. To those who played the first three games will find it difficult to find this game affordably to finish the story. Having this game on GOG would make this game accessible to everyone who can't afford the second hand market prices.

One of the few games that makes me feeling a Lot of emotions, also the father of isekais, the history is beautiful and really a great OST, this Game remain in My memory till the end
.Hack is a famously inaccessible series with rare and expensive games. Despite that, it has a strong and dedicated community who are eager to explore the games again and share them with their friends. This would be a wonderful addition to your digital collection.

Asura's Wrath
Asura's WrathThe game follows the title character, the demigod Asura as he seeks revenge on the pantheon of other demigods who betrayed him. The story is presented in the style and format of an episodic series of cinematic shorts, including opening and closing credits, with the gameplay being integrated into the cinematic where players switch between third-person combat and interactive sequences with player input in the form of quick-time event button prompts. Because of its unique style, the game has been described in the media as an "interactive anime". According to the game's producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, Asura's Wrath takes elements from Hinduism and Buddhism and blends them with science fiction, with the main character based on the ever combative and superiority-seeking beings of the same name that are part of the Hindu and Buddhist cosmology.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant NightmareTMNT3 puts more of a focus on teamwork, character development and control than any other console Turtles game to date. Gamers can play as their favorite Turtle alone or with up to three friends, earning experience points along the way as they slash and bash Foot Ninjas and powerful, well-known bosses from the TMNT universe. These experience points allow players to improve and evolve their Turtles' traits and abilities for more varied, powerful attacks and moves. The Ninja Scroll System is another new feature on TMMT3. Being able to select which ninja scrolls to use allows the Turtles to use various special abilities strategically. Cooperative play lies at the heart of TMNT3 and gamers who team up with friends for multiplayer action are rewarded with exclusive features such as Cooperative Attack for even more shell shocking damage to enemies. The effect of this attack changes depending on the number of players working together (between 2-4 players). For even greater control, TMNT3 features a new combat system called the Target Attack system that lets gamers play more instinctively and strategically. With the Target Attack system, players will be able to lock onto specific enemies and block, dodge or counter attack accordingly for smoother and more maneuverable combat. Story Mode can be played with 1-4 players. Even when you have less than 4 players to play, the other Turtles will be at your side, controlled through AI. All the Turtles can participate in Cooperative Attack to beat enemies and players can give commands to the AI.

X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse
X-Men: Mutant ApocalypseBecause of a rise of anti-mutant activity in Genosha, Professor Xavier uses Cerebro to scan the island nation and discovers Apocalypse's presence there. Genosha's government is apparently using Apocalypse to bring their mutant population under control. However, Xavier suspects Apocalypse to follow his own plans and sends five X-Men, Cyclops, Wolverine, Psylocke, Beast and Gambit, to investigate. X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse combines the gameplay of a side-scrolling brawler like Final Fight with elements of a platformer, that is, players have to fight various enemies and survive the occasional jumping-puzzle. Most levels also feature mid- and end-bosses in form of robots, monsters or known Super-Villains. Each character has unique abilities and special moves: Cyclops uses his Optic Blast to attack enemies from a distance, Wolverine can climb walls, Psylocke is very agile and the best jumper of the team, Beast can cling to the ceiling while Gambit throws explosive cards at his enemies. Special moves are quite similar to those found in Street Fighter II (Wolverine has a Dragon-Punch-style attack and Gambit's Double Kick is virtually identical to M. Bison's Scissors Kick), and require similar button combinations. While most stages are unique for each character, some can be played with any of the X-Men. Progress is saved via password.
