I played the demo on Steam, and though I needed a controller to play it, it was quite experimental, something new in a way. It was a bit confusing at first, but you constantly have to keep the rhythm up, and that was what made it fun for me.
Now what made me interested in this game is one special composer by the name of Yuji Takenouchi, or TECHNOuchi. He has composed for games such as SD Snatcher, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Speed King: Neo Kobe 2045, X-Men (1992), Project X Zone 2, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1 and 2, and this game. Correct me if I am wrong, but one of the tracks, or levels, is called "Techno" and he composed it to an amazing degree.
You can check the song sample with the title "HEXAGROOVE - TECHNO play sample" on Youtube. I really hope they release the soundtrack to this game because the song samples that I have listened to are bangers, and TECHNOuchi seems to own a vinyl on his track in particular.
I would want this game on GOG because it deserves to be preserved without the hassle of a DRM. And having this game on another platform would be super nice to have.
