Jan Pienkowski Haunted House

Jan Pienkowski Haunted House (1995)

Genres:Point-and-click
Themes:Educational
Game modes:Single player
Story:Jan Pienkowski Haunted House is an adaptation of the pop-up children's book of the same name by Jan Pienkowski. In this game for children of ages 4 to 8 they explore a haunted house that's filled with strange creatures and fun-filled games. There is no real horror to be found, but strange ghosts and monsters from both Earth and beyond do hide out in the house. Each room features original art from the pop-up book and can be explored at will. Clicking on hotspots in the room activates funny animations that will appeal to children. These are accompanied by sometimes ominous music but mostly funny sound effects. Using a map of the house the player can quickly travel to any part of the house. There's no real objectives rather than to have fun and explore.Show more

I've played this very short game about 28 years ago on my father's pentium Desktop PC. The game was very relaxing and replayable due its randomizer for the location of the keys to find in order to Leave the house. The game is based on a popular pop-up book for kids. If it Will be relased for new systems and preserved i Will play it with my dougther for sure.
I used to play this game with my mum and sister as a child, I would absolutely love to see this on GOG and play and share it with them again. I loved the little mice and puzzle solving. It was just a lot of fun and visually engaging.

At the start of the game the player can choose between six characters, three male and three female, with different appearances.

So Blonde
So BlondeSo Blonde is a classic 3rd person point & click adventure where the player takes the role of young and cute Sunny Blonde, who survives a ship catastrophe and awakes at a beautiful beach – only to find out that she has travelled to a time when pirates ruled the Caribbean Sea. She has to use all her charm and wit to find back into her own time. The game is full of humoristic allusions not only to classic adventures, but also to Sunny being a naïve blonde girl thrown into an environment that is too rough for her manicured nails and make up lifestyle. So Blonde is a game that will attract all kinds of players from all ages, female and male, who will not be able to resist Sunny’s irresistible charm.
