Story:Genie-girl Shantae is the self-appointed guardian of a small fishing village, Scuttle Town. Living life in a lighthouse rather than a bottle, she's constantly on the lookout for danger. When the nefarious lady-pirate, Risky Boots catches wind of the treasure that was recently unearthed in the village, she launches an attack. To get Scuttle out of trouble, it's up to Shantae to prove that she's the rightful 'Guardian Genie' to the best of her dancing, buying and hair-whipping abilities. Now crack that whip!Show more

This is the first game in the Shantae series, which has become a beloved series in the gaming world. Its a shame all future Shantae games are on GOG but the first entry is not available at all. This game has pretty visuals, a banging soundtrack, engaging characters, and a fun core game loop. Its time we preserved this game forevermore.

A memorable game that deserves to be available on the GOG store with the other games in the franchise. Despite being a game boy color game, it is well developed and has good world exploration mechanics and a very challenging difficulty.

The first game within the Shantae franchise. At the time of its release on Game Boy Color, it didn’t do much. Within time however, it gained a thriving fan following and thus additional sequels were made. One of the appealing things about the series is the title heroine is a half genie half human woman who is both likable and cute at the same time.

Fable: The Lost Chapters

Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.

Silent Hill HD CollectionSilent Hill HD Collection is a compilation of remastered ports of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. The core play mechanics and story for all games remained mostly the same with some artistic changes in the remastered versions. Both games have had a graphics overhaul to allow them to support modern 720p resolution on consoles, as well as run at locked 30 frames per second. They also feature an alternate voice dub, as well as PlayStation Network Trophies and Xbox 360 Achievements. Players have the option to switch between the original voice acting and the alternate voice acting for Silent Hill 2, while the re-dub is mandatory for Silent Hill 3 because it lacks the original voice acting.
