Story:Silent Hill: The Escape is a Silent Hill spin-off game, featuring first-person shooter-style gameplay. Its characteristic feature is a gameplay mechanic called gesture technology, which is a method of controlling the actions in the game via image feedback from the mobile device's built-in camera. The game objective is for the player to make their way through ten levels by finding the key and bringing it to the locked door at the end of each level. I remember playing this on my first smart phone. I've been a huge fan of the first four Silent Hill games since the early 2000s, and while this game doesn't do much to really be a Silent Hill game, it was a fun way to make the minutes on bus rides go by faster while having some reminiscence of the series visually.

The player controls the fighter ship through vertically scrolling stages, trying to destroy every ship that crosses its path and reach the end boss. The ship has a primary weapon that can be constantly upgraded by collecting power-ups, and a secondary slot for all sorts of collectible weapons that can be picked up in mid-air.
