The first first-person shooter I ever played... I remember repeating the levels over and over until I got to one set in India, after a train car. I couldn’t progress because, to move forward, you had to jump from a rooftop to a balcony while running by holding Shift. But I was too young to know that. Plus, the game was in English, and I didn’t understand a thing.
I first played it when I was 10 years old, but I only managed to get past that level and finish the game 10 years later, when I was 20. I ran while holding Shift, made the jump, and kept going. Now that I knew I could run, I finally completed the game. I remember it being an amazing feeling! Spending 10 years stuck on a single level and finally beating it... It was something truly incredible and unforgettable for me. That’s why this game is so special to me.
