A Remake of Final Fantasy Adventure(which was actually the first Mana game, but localized under the FF name for reasons) for the original Gameboy, this Gameboy Advanced game does so much with what it had to work with. The plot is still largely the same, though with a choice of player characters providing a bit of a different starting point for the female character.
However, it hits every point the old game did, and backports several developments of the series into this earlier iteration. Some of it works really well too, given some of those elements were, in fact, born of this game, just refined, so putting the refined versions in this one doesn't feel out of place.
Beyond that, the combat system is fantastic, with multiple weapons and spells, which determine your 'class' as you level them up, giving you bonuses and effects, which you can then leverage into power. And with the 'Black/Dark' enemy system to keep you from grinding too much in one single area, as after 1000 kills of an enemy type, it transformers every instance of that specific enemy into a harder, sometimes stronger than BOSSES, variant. And yet, it doesn't forget to reward you for taking them down.
A good game, a great place to enter the franchise if you want, and it would be awesome to see it in more hands.
Fable IIFable 2 is the second game in the fable series by Lionhead Studios, it is an open world role-playing game. It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled.
The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game. The player can also get married both same and opposite sex and bring up children to childhood but no farther, expressions are a lot more interactive with NPC's than beforeTrending Open world Action Fantasy
