I've only played this game in recent years (through creative means), but it absolutely deserves to be experienced by any Berserk fan for the story alone, which was written by Kentaro Miura himself. While it's far more frustrating and barebone compared to the PS2 game (which also deserves a full re-release on GOG as well), it still features fun sword gameplay as a more mellowed out version of Guts and introduces concepts games like Devil May Cry and God of War would go on to expand in later on. Even if the game can be clunky and obtuse, it's well worth it to experience an untold adventure that further illustrates why Berserk is one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever written. It's a rough but beautiful gem that should be preserved with the rest f his amazing story.

The game was released in North America on April 26, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, and in Europe on April 28, 2011.
EA seemingly has removed the store page of Darkspore from Steam, meaning any attempt to purchase it through Steam cannot be made. The game was later relisted with EA saying that they would continue to support for the game. Those who have purchased it prior to the page's removal still have the game and could play it until the servers were shut down permanently on March 1, 2016. Dead Island takes place on the fictional (based off a true island near Papua New Guinea) island of Banoi. You play as one of four different characters with different skills and skill trees, and different intro videos. The worlds is half open, you can roam the world as you wish but you will have to go through the main story to progress to the next large open area
The combat is largely melee focused, but you also have firearms and throwing weapons, bullets and guns are scares in the start of the game, but towards the end of the game they are much easier to find. The zombies are mostly slow, but there is a wide range of different zombies throughout the game.
