Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's StoneHarry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is the first Harry Potter video game for the PlayStation, and one of several different games based on the book and movie. This version is a three-dimensional action adventure, where Harry must complete a number of challenges in order to pass his first year of studies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Successful completion of the tasks often results in house points for Harry's house Gryffindor and failure in some deducts points, so the race for the House Cup can stay open until the end.

Alone in the DarkAlone in the Dark is a reboot of the original game and the fifth installment of the series. It features a new storyline and characters while still maintaining the core elements of the survival horror genre. The game is set out through DVD-style episodes where the player can choose to start from the beginning or choose to skip to a section if they get stuck. There is also a strong emphasis on exploration, atmosphere and tension with players needing to use stealth and strategy to avoid detection by enemies.

Simon the Sorcerer II: The Lion, the Wizard and the WardrobeThe Evil wizard Sordid is brought back to life when a magic-book of his is set ablaze and thrown into the middle of a chalkboard pentagram by the father of Runt, a young boy wanting to become a mighty sorcerer. Sordid promises him that he can become his apprentice if he helps him exact his vengeance on Simon. Several months later, Sordid's Fortress of Doom is reconstructed and Sordid has a new robotic body. He sends a magical wardrobe to fetch Simon but it accidentally ends up on the doorstep of Calypso, the wizard Simon had to save in the last game. Simon then starts to look for a fuel called mucusade which he needs to power the wardrobe in order to get home.

Silent Hill 3Silent Hill 3 is the third installment in the Silent Hill series. Like the previous entries, Silent Hill 3 is a survival horror combining action-based combat and puzzle-solving, but is somewhat more combat-oriented than the preceding installments. The main character is able to side-step and block some attacks, but in general shares with the other protagonists of the series their relative ineptitude in combat.

TrespasserTrespasser is a PC game released in 1998. Set one year after the events of the 1997 film The Lost World: Jurassic Park and published alongside the film's home video release. The player assumes the role of Anne, the sole survivor of a plane crash on InGen's Jurassic Park "Site B" on Isla Nublar. With a fractured arm and no equipment to speak of, Anne must escape the remote island by solving puzzles and evading dangerous dinosaurs.

The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.
