I remember playing it split-screen on 360 back in a day with my cousin. Too bad this "LOTR-themed battlefront" is not easily accessible so more people would experience what Pandemic Studios cooked after SW:B1 and SW:B2
Game created by Pandemic Studios based on the Star Wars Battlefront engine (classic) and released by EA on DVD. And the DVD version is useless because it requires registration and has a limit on the number of installations. So after few Windows reinstall you may lose your legally bought game.

Me and my buddy of 15 years still play this on his PS3. Playing hero deathmatch or running through the campaigns will never get old. Can't get a boss? Have your buddy distract him and shove a dagger down him, and the hobbits had special backstab animations!
I absolutely devoured this game back on my PS3, even though I never managed to try the online mode for it. I would love to see it brought back and be playable on mordern hardware, especially to finally try out the multiplayer mode.
this was pandemics last game if i remember correctly i had so much fun playing the alternate timelines. i played so much it's a shame it never really cought on like the star wars battlefront games i would love to see it released again and preserved.

Playing this game is a joy for me. I lose myself while playing the game. Only those who have experienced it know this pleasure, it is indescribable. Playing a game of a movie you watch with pleasure and feeling like a member of that world is an undeniable pleasure.

I played this game almost everyday with my brother while we were younger. even a lot of months later. I'm sure we finished more than 8 times together...I personally finished it more than 10. I didn't even watch the movies, i recently watched it and loved the easter eggs...and the creative freedom taken in making the game. It was my favourite game on PS3. Looking forward to it getting here.
I remember me playing this masterpiece of a co-op campaign with my friends and brothers on my PS3 back then. You could play as evil or good characters. It had a lot of content and really great maps and heroes with a funs sandbox and even creatures such as ents. A good sense of what made Lord of the Rings so cool. I hope that this game gets rereleased beacuse its quite expensive theese days with no online release available due to license issues. i hope it gets preserved some day so I can get to play some PC mods.
yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes... and YES! I'll have what I'm having LOL. such an epic game. Loved getting to relive the events of the films but from the evil side persepctive, I remember taking over hobbiton as Sauron, dominating as Saruman, getting to play as wizards, orcs, it was endless fun and deserves a comeback. It elevated the star wars battlefront formula and the fact we never got a remaster of this hurts.
Those games also need your vote!

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege
Onimusha 3: Demon SiegeOnimusha 3 is the third game of the Onimusha series. The game retains elements from previous games in the franchise including the use of multiple special weapons in order to fight enemies and absorb their energy to enhance the weaponry. This time the player primarily controls both Samanosuke and Jacques in separate scenarios. The two are able to exchange items in order to solve puzzles. The development from this game started after the release of the PlayStation 2 which allowed the team to work on a 3D engine to design 3D backgrounds. In order to appeal to the Western market, the team set this game in Paris and chose French actor Jean Reno to portray Jacques. Onimusha 3 has been generally well received by publications for video games. Most of the writer's praise focused on the improved controls and the use of a 3D engine that allowed better combat and visuals, respectively. The game also generated good sales with over 1.5 million copies sold as of May 2008.

The city’s Special Forces division, S.T.A.R.S., sends their Bravo Team - including rookie cop member Rebecca Chambers - to investigate. On route, the team’s helicopter suffers engine trouble and is forced to make a crash landing, where they find an overturned prisoner transport vehicle. Splitting up to search the area, Rebecca discovers the Ecliptic Express, a train stopped dead on the tracks. Inside, she meets death row convict and ex-Navy lieutenant Billy Coen. Throughout the game, you will take control of both Rebecca and Billy, at times switching between both characters in order to proceed. Learning the advantages of each character is the key to solving puzzles and surviving the nightmares that lie ahead.
