Story:Twinkle Star Sprites: La Petite Princesse (ティンクルスタースプライツ ～La Petite Princesse～) is a scrolling shooter developed by SNK Playmore for the PlayStation 2 released exclusively in Japan on July 28, 2005. It is the sequel to to Twinkle Star Sprites.
It was shown at the SNK Booth at E3 2005. It is an enhanced re-vamp of the Neo Geo title featuring fully 3D environments and a host of new characters. Clearing the game opens up a perfectly emulated version of the original Neo Geo title.
There was a possibility that it would be released in North America, but after some consideration, at E3 2006, Ben Herman, president of SNK Playmore USA, stated that the game will not be published in North America. Please add an online mode to this game if it gets a modern rerelease on GOG, I really want to play this with my friends all over the world.

The gameplay follows the recipe from Doom RPG as it is shown in the first person while being a turn-based role-playing game rather than a shooter and puts emphasis on the plot. Combat and movement are turn-based, allowing the player time to select their responses in combat. The player turns at 90 degree angles and moves space by space. One step or action by the player allows all other characters in the area to take one step or action themselves. The game takes advantage of its deliberately slow pace, encouraging players to take their time and check out every little corner, read the books on every bookshelf, and destroy all the furniture to see if anything is hidden within. Levels include underground passages and weapon development laboratories plus a level involving a moving vehicle.
