Twisted Metal 2 is basically the high water mark for the late 90's car combat fad. Few games were ever this good, even in the Twisted Metal franchise itself. And most people probably don't even know there was an official PC port.

This is my first video game ever and I'd love to buy it off GOG. I first played the game back in 1997 when I was 2 years old. I love this video game and it's one of the best video games out there.
Twisted Metal 2 was absolute chaos in the best way possible! It took the vehicular combat formula of the first game and cranked everything up—bigger maps, crazier weapons, and more insane characters. How could anyone forget Axel or Sweet Tooth! It should be in the GOG by now

Most TM fan believes Twisted Metal the greatest TM game ever made!!! There's some great arguments for this. Some truly iconic characters you'll remember for years to come. Some of the finest endings they ever done!!! Some of the absolute best levels as well. Some of the finest boss fights. Not to mention, some of the best specials in the franchise. A great soundtrack with some amazing sound effects. An friend who introduced me to a lot of PS1 games. I originally played TM2 through him a long time ago. There is the lesser known PC port that had online multiplayer. Yes TM2 was the first online TM game. Virtually everything surpassed the original Twisted Metal. TM2 is a true timeless classic. A lot of people surprisingly missed out playing this. There's some great secrets you won't expect. Like keeping attacking the Statute of Liberty to reveal stuff until it's destroyed. There's even a track pulled straight out of Jet Moto 1. TM2 is hands down one of the finest TM games ever!!! It's also one of the absolute greatest car combat games in existence. I do think a lot of people go nuts when they see TM2 on here.

Twisted Metal 2 was one of the few PlayStation games Sony legitimately released to PC. It just makes sense. Plus, there's an active community for it, including keeping the online going. It's such a fun game that should definitely be returned to PC, one that i definitely had tons of fun with.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition RemixMidnight Club 3: DUB Edition is a racing game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games It is the third installment in the Midnight Club series. Like previous installments in the series, the game is an arcade-style racer and focuses on wild, high-speed racing, rather than realistic physics and driving. The name is derived from a partnership between Rockstar and DUB Magazine, which features heavily in the game in the form of DUB-sponsored races and DUB-customized vehicles as prizes. Players race through open world recreations of San Diego, Atlanta, and Detroit listening to 98 licensed music tracks that include hip-hop, rock, and more.[citation needed] The game features a number of graphical views after the player crashes into certain objects, or travels across particular stretches of road. There is also the ability to customize a player's vehicle. Other than modifying the external looks, the vehicle's performance can also be improved (with the exception of all 'A' Class vehicles except motorcycles).
