Story:In Urban Chaos: Riot Response, you play as Nick Mason, a member of a new anti-terrorist team named T-Zero. Terrorists and gang members have destroyed your city, and your goal is to bring order back to the city while destroying any terrorists and gang members you encounter. Since your enemies are armed to the teeth (usually with meat cleavers, molotov cocktails, and sawed-off shotguns), you're equipped with a riot shield that can be used by holding the left trigger. It can absorb an infinite amount of projectiles, but you cannot shoot while you are using it. You can get the assistance of firefighters to put out fires, and medics to replenish your health.
Your weapons can be upgraded by earning medals during your missions. You can earn these medals by scoring headshots, arresting enemies with your taser (as opposed to killing them), collecting gang masks, etc. You can even unlock extra missions and weapons by arresting gang leaders at the end of each level, so that the police can interrogate him and find out the gang's next move.Show more

this fps did not get enough love due to the fact it came out on the 6th gen consoles when the 7th had launched, but what games this game unforgettable is the fun fps combat and the ability to use lethal or non lethal methods to take gang members including using their own weapons and an amazing riot shield mechanic and interaction with other npcs such as paramedics and firefighters
Esse é um dos melhores jogos de ação do PS2 sem duvidas, na minha opinião é claro, eu joguei e zerei esse jogo varias vezes, mas o mais esquisito é que nenhum dos meus amigos conhecia o jogo. Tudo nesse jogo é incrível, a variedade de armas, cenários, inimigos, os confrontos com reféns, as mortes em câmera lenta, a música da tela inicial, tudo incrível. Infelizmente nunca tive a oportunidade de jogar o modo on-line mais provavelmente também era incrível. Tenho muitas memórias com esse jogo, porque jogava com meu irmão naquele modo "Quando tu morrer é minha vez", realmente muito divertido. Eu quero que esse jogo entre na GOG para mim poder revisitar as minhas memórias de infância ;).
Played this game so many years ago on PS2 and it absolutely ROCKS
Taze anarchists in the nuts until they catch fire, tase your sergeant in the nuts until he catches fire, bash them in the face with a riot shield, if bandits take a hostage as a human shield you can blast them to heck along with the hostage, there's parts where you play as a fire fighter putting out blazing infernos and rescuing people, or not, challenges and achievements to beat to unlock new weapons and gear to make everyone else's lives worse. Good god this game had it all.
