Fractured Space, despite being shut down almost a decade ago, is still my most played game on Steam. It's unique in that its a MOBA using capital ships in space and had a holy trinity of tank/healer/dps. The supports were especially fun to play as they actually had offensive capabilities that could be woven in-between healing cooldowns, which gave skilled support players a lot of impact. This is something not many games pull off well, but FS did. Ship controls were great, with 6 degrees of movement. (Up/Down, Forward/Back, Strafe Left/Right, Turn Left/Right). This is the primary thing that set it above a similar game called Dreadnought, as having strafing changed how you'd maneuver to avoid fire in combat drastically. It also made moving around objects much easier, which is important because the big neutral objective in the base game mode is a capture zone with a big station in the middle of it that you can use for cover. Your ship has a set amount of armor on each of the 6 facings. (Front/Back/Left/Right/Top/Bottom.) Once its broken, you take roughly double damage when being hit on that facing, so protecting damaged facings via maneuvering was an important part of combat. The ships all have unique models and abilities. I cannot sing praise of the artists and designers enough. Even a decade later, I still think its a great looking sci-fi game. Some skins like the Charon for the Colossus definitely stand above the rest. (Check Artstation for the "USR Charon" Colossus) All that said, FS is a niche game. The overlapping portion of the gaming Venn diagram for MOBA players and sci-fi game players is pretty small, and FS lacks a solid PVE mode. The devs tried to cover this with Last Stand, but it just never caught on. Still though, its a shame to see a game I loved and put over a thousand hours into gathering dust after Wargaming bought out Edge Case Games and shut it down. I'd love to see something done with it.
Breathe a little life back into my precious. My Fractured Space. My Raven. No other game has gripped quite as tightly upon my orbs as this one. Fractured Space is a standout example in a nearly barren genre of gaming, and easily beats out those meager competitors in the places that actually matter to me. GAMEPLAY and SOUL This game has vision, it has an identity. Everything here is a visual treat. The hanger/main screen, the maps, the animations from jumps to weapon discharge, the ships themselves, are all beautifully designed. They feel right and scream unique. Everything has a sort of brand to it. The sound design is distinct and great too. You can know what you're facing by image or audio alone, each element is that notable, and there is no oversaturation of visual or audio garbage that you lose clarity within a match, something I've seen many other games fail at. That's good conveyance. A game that gives 6 degrees of movement for ships in space *gasp* it can't be. And yet it be. The gameplay is just plain enjoyable. Fighting other ships is actually fun, abilities feel good to use, your freedom of movement has weight to it, and position matters when fighting to win lanes. Good timing, pressure, and accuracy are rewarded in the dynamic skirmishes over the different sectors of the map. The robust movement system, abilities, presence of turret traverse and parallax, armor faces, and relationship of distance and projectile velocity all combine to make aiming your guns fun. Aiming your guns is fun in FS. The gamemode actually means something, too. Map control means levels of advantage, and winning Gamma is like winning Arrakis. The game ends. All that is to say, the gameplay loop itself is addictively compelling, and not many games can say that. You want a MOBA that doesn't make you hate yourself for playing it? This is it. I'm not explaining what Gamma is or what a Raven do. You should find out yourself and help bring back the king. Fractured Space deserves it.
This is easliy the best space ship combat game ever made. The game has a huge variety of ships, and a lot of interesting mechanics like armor or jumping between sectors. I would love to see this game online again.
While i'd like this to be released on GOG with community server support, I doubt Wargaming.net will release this IP. It's also not a true MOBA game. While it had aspects of a MOBA game, it really should not be classified as a MOBA game. It's more of a tactical space combat game. Combat is MUCH slower than traditional MOBA games. There are no champions per-se, more like the you gather a crew with different personalities. I started playing in 2016, and immediatly fell in love with the ship combat. I love the idea of collecting crew cards. You could collect crew emmbers that applied different buffs to your ship. They even talked about the state of the ship! It was super cool and made the ship feel more alive. The story was also pretty interesting and I wished they didnt get shut down, the story was gearing up to be quite interesting. They definitly had ideas and cared about the game. There was passion. The ships to this day, look absolutely amazing. with 3 differerent factions that all looks cool AF. To this day, no other game captures the feeling of controlling huge capitol ships in space combat. The combat was so satisfying. While slower, it felt much more impactful. There is still a small community that keeps this game alive, and they have frequent events to get together and play a few matches. This is also one of those games that inspired me to get into game development.
Those games also need your vote!

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Xenosaga I & II
Xenosaga I & IIXenosaga I & II is a combined remake and retelling of Xenosaga Episode 1 and 2 redesigned for the Nintendo DS. The story changes were handled by the creator of the series. The game changes large parts of the storyline in Episode 1 while following the elements established in the original game. This includes adding new characters and changing how some scenarios play out. Changes in Episode 2 were much larger as the main character perspective of the game was switched from Jr. to Shion to match up with Episode 1 and 3. Some characters are removed from the story or have their fates changed or revealed. Some dungeons are removed, edited, or replaced. It also answers some questions that the original did not as you follow a different path through the same overall story. It also changes the combat mechanics of Episode 2 to match Episode 1.

Atrox
AtroxAtrox is astonishingly similar to Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft. The gameplay, the graphics, units, buildings, even single animations are extremely close to the original. The game is a real-time strategy game where the player controls one of three races (Hominides, Inteliom, Kreators) and tries to destroy all the others on the map. To accomplish this task, he can build a base with many different buildings such as weapon factories, barracks, power plants and so on. He also has to gather resources to build all his stuff, in this game, he needs to get Quark and some liquid crystal. The game features three different campaigns (one for each race) as well as skirmish mode, network and online play (the latter using a server).
