Stig79: BG3 would probably have a new protagonist. They kind of closed the story off with that Murder in Baldur's Gate module.

Still a BG3 will use 5ed. Which means 200 years after BG2, otherwise it would be dumb as hell as far as plot-holes go.

Hickory: And this is precisely why there should not be a "Baldur's Gate 3". The story is closed. Finished. Put to bed. Why the hell can't they do what everybody and their dog has been telling them to do: create something new of their own instead of leeching and cash-grabbing from popular products? [Rhetorical]
