Hello all, im looking for some help. Ive downloaded bg2 but i cant install it. I get an error message saying the exe file is corrupt and that I should download it again. I have done so many times now and nothing I do seems to work. Ive tried to contact gog but ive had no reply as yet.

I use firefox as my browser, but ive never had problems with it before.

please help!

I do have the disc versions of the game but I struggled to get bg 1 working properly and then my laptop died. So I though I'd try gog this time around now that ive got a new laptop. Planescape torment seems to work fine. Yet nothing but trouble with bg2....

Did you download two .bin files as well? Maybe not the .exe but one of them got corrupted. Their sizes should be respectively 1.95GB, 325MB and 2.34MB for .exe.

Make sure that all three files are in the same place and that no AV program or Firefox addon can interfere with the download.

I did, twice as it happens.
