I don't see a required hardware section for BG. I know it's 10 years old, I'm wondering if my laptop can handle it : Win7/64 Core2 Duo @ 2 GHZ, 4G RAM, integrated Intel video card. Video card is biggest question mark
It should be perfectly fine. Baldurs Gate is 2D isometric (probably using DirectDraw), it's not a big task for an integrated intel chipset as recent as yours.

The page for each game lists the system requirements (just above the user reviews)

For BG :

Minimum system requirements: Windows XP or Windows Vista, 1 GHz Processor (1.4 GHz recommended), 256MB RAM (512 recommended), 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 7 (compatible with DirectX 9 recommended), Mouse, Keyboard.

I didn't see it -glanced at that and thought that section was just legalease about age ratings! GOG should separate h/w requirements from there
Thats pretty much the default minimum that gog put on every game, beneath a steel sky has the same. From what I can gather, if your computer is newer than the game then you'll probably be able to run it
You should be able to run it. I'm running it on a netbook, with specs that are lower than yours.

In fact, you'd probably be hard pressed to find a game on GOG that you can't run with those specs. The only one I can think of would be Two Worlds, and even then you're above the minimum specs and should have a chance at running it.

The OP might also have problems with Sacred Gold, which won't work with a large number of Intel chips

I doubt it. I ran the demo just fine on my netbook, just a couple of days ago.
