Hi!
I'm slowly learning all of the technicalities of the AD&D system while playing BG1. I have recently leveled up with Imoen, a thief, and I have gained one weapon proficiency point. However, for some reason I don't understand, I cannot assign that point to any of the weapons I already use. I have one proficiency point in short bows and another one in short swords and I want to use the extra point on short bows, but I cannot. Is there any rule that says I cannot have more than one proficiency point in a weapon?
