I'm having a problem with BG2: every time I load a game it goes to default conditions, i.e. all inventory is in main character, preferences like auto-pause are set to default, etc.
I have widescreen mod installed and there might be a problem there. When a game is loaded, it asks for an initial resolution set up. Is this possibly related? Any ideas?

edit: re-installed to a new directory and it works. Solved.
