Dear CDPR,

Please hire somebody who has driven a car at some point in their lives.

Driving a car in CP2077 feels like playing pacman with a physics mod.

You can accelerate, you can decelerate, but you cannot stop accelerating and keep a constant speed.

You can turn (turn turn turn), you can go straight, but you cannot set a turning radius (such as, for instance, to follow a curved road).

You can brake, you can brake, YOU CAN BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-crash.

It seems so obvious that there should be a way to set at least a constant speed, but ideally also a constant turning radius.

I get it, the game is not designed to support a steering-wheel-and-pedals controller (and that's a good thing), but surely there has to be a better way than accelerate, stop accelerating, accelerate again, stop accelerating, brake brake brake crash. Reverse. Accelerate, turn, stop accelerating, stop turning, crash, reverse again...

Right? RIGHT?

Please?

So, here is my modest proposal: map shift-W and shift-S to cruise speed up and cruise speed down.

Then, map shift A and shift D to set turn radius.

Tapping any of these keys without the shift modifier resets the value of that gauge to 0

Add a corresponding indicator for the current turning radius in 3rd person driving, if you feel so inclined. 1st person driving already has the actual steering wheel as an indicator.

Done.

Is it really so hard to implement?
