Never had an issue with this job before, but I can scan anything in the BD part. The phone for example, the yellow icon is there but nothing happens when I hold the reticule over it. Tried it with controller and mouse/keyboard and no joy. Tried skipping through and finding other things to scan, and same problem.

Edit: went back and tried in the tutorial, first object it asks you to scan, nothing happens. I can scan the SCSM machines, but not the gun you need to scan to progress. Anyone else encountered this problem and found a fix?

I found that if you have the "Hide Your Head" mod installed, it breaks that part. Remove the mode and you should be good to go.
