So I've been playing for almost 20 hours on this playthrough and so far... I only got one achievement, the ''Become a mercenary'' one.

I've done a few questlines like Panam, reached level 20 in one skill, crafted various legendary times but so far, none of those appeared, even with the overlay activated. Any help why this can be happening? Mods disable achievements maybe?

Same here. Over 200 hours into this game (going through the endings now) and I've only gotten that same one. Maybe something will be different if I start a new game?

Same here. Over 110h and only half of the achievements i should have.
Modding doesn't stop achievements.
And i alway have the "cloud sync failed" message on Galaxy for CP2077, even if the sync progress bar reach 100%.

Over 215 hours in game right now.

During my first playthrough on release (december 2020, v1.0) everything related to achievements worked fine. Halfway through the game I started using mods and the achievements still worked without any problems or weird delays and finally I finished the game after about 112 hours with 84% achievements.

Second approach, also with mods. New game launched about two months ago (september 2022) on version 1.6 - and here comes the disappointment. The achievements that I have left to complete are easy to do, but they have not been unlocked despite completing the requirements multiple times. In the meantime, patch 1.61 came out, but even that didn't help.

I tried starting the game normally and via REDmod.
With mods on and off.
With RivaTuner overlay on and off.
With GOG overlay on and off.
With a combination of all of the above.

Aaaaaand still no achievements. Moreover, I keep having the problem mentioned by @ZXRO.exe: despite of the successful savegames upload to the cloud, I get a message that the synchronization is not working. The game's main menu says the same thing.

Have the patches that are supposed to fix the game turned out to break it again?
