Hello!

So I got into a firefight with some Tyger Claws, and I saw some Afterlife mercs try to kill me. Would killing them affect my relationship to rogue in any way?

No.

"Afterlife Mercs" is, in game terms, a faction, but they're all freelancers -- like V. There's no connection to Rogue, save that they were hired at her bar.

It's that spot where Tiny Mike drops you off, right? The mercs are down the road, by the staircase, and the Claws are near a drop point, ripping somebody off? If you make too much noise taking them out, the mercs always get involved...

Thanks for the info! Yup, finishing the Tiny Mike gig was exactly what I was doing. I was also testing out the new toy I found.
