Throughout the game the engine attempts to adjust the "camera" exposure to simulate a camera for whatever reason. I guess it is the cool thing to do these days, except it makes the game unplayable sometimes. Like I am in a car right now and supposed to follow someone, and I'm in first-person view and outside all of the windows is just pure bright white light with absolutely zero visibility

2 screenshots, one shows the over-exposure problem in-vehicle and how it makes the game completely unplayable. In this case specifically the problem vanishes in third person perspective as shown in the other screenshot, however that is not always the case. Sometimes switching between perspectives might work around the issue or diminish it, but its an ugly hack workaround for a broken feature, and the problem occurs when you're just walking around on foot too, and there's no first person/third person toggle to work around that.

Game desperately needs a "completely disable broken over-exposure" effect toggle in settings, this is so annoying and really detracts from trying to you know, actually play the game.
