Is there any way to change the firing mode on guns?,

i hate Burst fire, and in most games i refuse to use guns that have it, but it seems every gun in this game is stuck on burst fire mode and as such I've not played this game beyond the start.

I'd just use 3-taps for controlled bursts.
(ie, plink the key instead of holding)

it all depends on the guns. some are burst, some are full auto, some are 1 by 1.
