So I saw the 1.2 patch update.

First thought: Resources wasted on flashy PR that should've been spent on fixing the software.

Second thought: You double tap crouch to dodge? Just picture doing this. How fucking stupid are these people?

I'm seeing flashbacks of people spam crouching on the faces of corpses in MMO's.

I, we, want a "dedicated dodge key", like every other game on the planet FFS!

It appears that the people making the "patches" have never actually played a game. Come to think of it, It also appears that 4 or 5 different contracted programmers (companies) wrote the game without any project management. Then you had a group (or 1 person) tie it all together. The game plays like every thing is a stand alone mini-game and nothing was meant to play with anything else.

If they purely stole the work from Nexus and said here's our next patch/update, it would be far better then this path we all endure.

I think it's pretty clear: if you want to keep the double tap of WASD to dodge, then just don't turn the option off...

You would've thought they'd learned their lesson after the flack they took for the Witcher 3 having a bunch of keys locked down but nope let's make a pc game with a controller in mind. Too funny.

I fixed my typo, I mean to write dedicated "dodge" not "crouch".

I'm not going to bother to install the patch as I don't currently have any of the issues they claim to be fixing and it would actually fuckup the things I've already fixed myself.

#1 Don't shoot innocent people. (Even if you do just run, the cops stop chasing in like half a block)

#2 Learn how to drive FFS!

#3 I've already customized all my keybinds myself. I don't want to have to do it all over again.

I did buy ps4 copy of cp2077, but I play it on ps5 and so far I really enjoy the game alot, well except the part where you fall down through the game world and some steps you can't walk up, though you can walk down them..weird I must say. Oh and panties still show up in the mirror while undressed...lol!?
Driving is a joy lol, I haven't had this much fun since the original gran turismo!
Gun part I don't care for: not a first person shooter gamer here, violance ain't my thing.
Story is remarkable and real, too real lol.

There was a bit of abusive language in there that could be avoided, but this is internet after all - everyone divides what is said by a factor of 10.

However you are missing the OP's point which is valid - all the gamers asked for was to have fully customisable key mappings including all the actions (dodging etc.). There is no valid reason why this could not be done and why it should not be done. Still no reason - so what is proposed is not a fix and does not address the problem that was raised.

Then don't complain that the blues don't want to interact with you, does that make sense?

So was the OP if I interpret this correctly. It is a bit of like - could we have a separate switch for the lights in the living room? No, but if you flick the light in the kitchen twice, the living room lights will also come on... and you can also flick the fuse switch instead of the living room light switch too...
