It's like the first time ever that I get Cloud Sync failed on GOG Galaxy. Curiously, turning off cloud sync doesn't make it go away. Any ideas?
No. I have been getting it for an hour and can't get past the "Cyberpunk 2077" screen "Press |___| to continue" screen
Same here.
Same for me.
I think servers are under heavy load. I have no exact data about GoG but Steam registered peak transfer around 50Tbps! Steam has (or had, I don't know) issues as well. Too many people (peak concurrent players on Steam: more than 1 million) at the same time downloading and playing Cyberpunk :) .

Same here. Sync fails every time but it saves/loads/plays locally for me.

I also have the exact same issue in Cybepunk 2077. Not sure about other games since Cyberpunk is the only thing I have installed on GoG Galaxy right now.
I am also experiencing this issue. Have been getting issues about GOG Galaxy being offline repeatedly since preloading started. I'm guessing it is related to heavy load.

turn it off for the game itself by clicking on the thumbnail ,
then manage installation - configure - cloudsaves
worked for me
didn't even touch the settings sync of gog galaxy itself

I think for me I actually want the cloud saves to work, are you saying disabling and re-enabling them fixes it? I'll try that..

EDIT: hilariously enough, disabling cloud saves under the Galaxy options for the game then quitting and restarting Galaxy, it still shows the error. Going back into manage the game settings cloud saves are still disabled.

the game saves to your harddrive when disable it , but who cares , at least you can play it
also had to turn of my dsr in nvidia to stop the game from crashing , it doesn't like it on ,
but it looks about the same at 1440p as 4k dsr
you're also gonna want to turn of chromatic aberration and film grain + motion blur of course , who needs that
makes the game look sharp instead of washed out
good luck
Yeah same here. So I disabled the cloud saves in the GOG client and stopped using Galaxy to launch it, I then did my own "cloud save". I kinda need it cuz I have this game installed on 2 PCs and I'd like to have the same savegames available to both PCs.

I used Google Drive as my "cloud save", and used the DOS command "mklink" to create links (like in Linux) to create symbolic links so that both the game and the Google Backup app can find and sync the files. Of course I did this on both PCs so they will always see these saves as a "local" save.

This worked for me!
(Basically disabling then re-enabling cloud saves)
What a hell, I payed money on GOG, for sure that every cent will to to Cd Project! And what i`ve got? That I can't play when I want, because my saves are blocked on one pc, and didnt synced. Gabe doing better job. I`m dissapointed.
