I installed Cyberpunk 2077 with the offline installers and realized that I'd get some bonus cosmetic items if I launch it via GOG Galaxy, so I downloaded it and imported my existing CP install.

It even did some updates even though I had the latest version installed, strange but okay.

But the issue is that I cannot get it to launch from Galaxy, it just doesn't do anything after I press the launch button.

I can launch it fine from the Desktop shortcut which was created by the offline installer however.

On Galaxy there is that setting on top left corner and there is add games & friends use there scan folders for GOG games and it should add game to Galaxy

Just a quick side question here...which bonus items are available by using GoG Galaxy now?

The ones I know of are the Wolf School T-shirt and jacket, and the Black Unicorn katana. And those cosmetics are available without data collecting and telemetry gathering nonsense like the GoG Galaxy game client.

Requires a mod though, CyberEngineTweaks (CET). But you can do so much more with that in Cyberpunk 2077 than the game client offers.

The issue fixed itself after I tried it again today, a restart fixed whatever issue was happening... oh well.

@trancers You didn't read my post properly, I have the game imported already.

@PaladinNO Thanks for sharing the mod! I can't really recall the exact list of bonus items but you seem to be correct. I just want the Witcher shirt and jacket :)

Did you install CET? If you did, I can give you the console codes for the items.

For the Black Unicorn katana sword:
Game.AddToInventory("Items.Preset_Katana_GoG_Legendary", 1)

For the Wolf School T-shirt:
Game.AddToInventory("Items.GOG_DLC_TShirt_Legendary", 1)

For the Wolf School jacket:
Game.AddToInventory("Items.GOG_DLC_Jacket_Legendary", 1)

If you get the items through the client, as intended, you MUST get them before you reach character level 38. The T-shirt and jacket get tier upgrades through crafting upgrades, and they require 12 upgrades to get to legendary tier. And you need at least 12 character levels remaining to do that.

That said, they are also some of the earliest legendary gear you can get, if you get the required (which is also purchasable) upgrade components.

If you want a better car early on, here's the code for something you might like:

Thanks for sharing, the last code seems more like a cheat to me though, but still useful for those who don't mind :)

I'll be marking your post as the "solution" since it provides valuable info and also address the issue of obtaining Galaxy-only items without actually using Galaxy.

As for the vehicle, it's...more a favour to yourself than a cheat. It's not really necessary while still playing in Act 1 (too crowded), but once you get the Act 2 and the world opens up, you'd want something that moves a little bit quicker than your initial vehicle to move around (which, not to spoil too much, potentially gets taken away from you for a time, shortly after Act 2 starts if you pick a certain mission).

Which faction are you going with in your current playthrough? Nomad, Street Kid or Corpo?
This vehicle is Nomad exclusive, so please ignore if you're going Nomad. But if you go Corpo or Street Kid, it's something more reasonable (i.e. "less of a cheat") than the one I posted above (this is also one of my favourites):

I picked Nomad...so hopefully I can unlock it with natural progression. I'm usually in no hurry anyway. Still, thanks for the codes.

In that case, you'll get it through natural progression by default. It's a dedicated mission you'll eventually unlock.
Mission name is "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" (Google it) if you're curious about details. :)
