Voodoo Boys is a very disappointing faction in current game and the players have no reason to side with them. I want a new life path where Placid would be V's best friend like Jackie and Mama B would be like a mentor(Padre maybe?). Since VDBs are very loyal to their own the main quest would unfold quite differently.

I was a bit disappointed in the Voodoo Boys arc. From the trailers and such I thought they would be a major plotline, but it was just a half an hour thing with Sasquatch at the end and then... nothing. While playing I thought something is dodgy with them, but as I assumed it is going to be a huge arc, I did not betray them since I assumed an alliance would be beneficial. But afterwards it was just them betraying me and ... nothing. The whole district had only a couple of side jobs so after the side jobs and that short story bit there was no need to visit the whole district.

And saying that Sasquatch was at the end of the arc is an exaggeration. Voodoo Boys stopped being relevant after you meet the Netrunner, even if you side with Voodoo Boys. So it was like half a quest's worth of Voodoo Boys.

I will betray them on my next playthrough.
