frank0420cs: I just preordered my copy of 2077 on GOG, and the download speed isn't very fast, i get around 9-10mb/s.
anyone know where are the servers located? i live in UAE and i guess there isnt any server near me atm.
still so excited for the game to drop!!!!
cheers everyone!
sean8102: BTW Galaxy 2.0 displays your speed in Megabytes per second not Megabits. So, 9-10 MB/s is about 75 to 80 Mbps. Depends on what your connection speed is as to whether that is good for you or not but just something to keep in mind.
its a typo from me, it should be 9-10MB/s, i have a 250mbps internet, so it should be higher than that, i could easily get 150+ MB/s from steam for certain games
Denthar: 5 MB/s here but finally - it's over
good thing we have preload for this game, otherwise it could be a disaster on the luanch date... hundreds of thousands of people downloading at the same...
divisionbg: what ? where i can download it.
if you have pre-ordered it, you should be able to pre-load the game now, its roughly 59G and the download sign is on top of the launcher where you see overview and progression,
wintermute.: I had solid 100-110MB/s so I guess the problem is the peering between your ISP and the CDN or on your side.
Unfortunately I didn't look up the DNS/IP of the server I got my data from, sorry. :(
im still happy we could pre-load this game because I cannot wait another minute once it officially launches!

Jumbik: I was donwloading at my Max. internet connection speed (40MB/s) so the servers were OK. I suppose it is either caused by your location, or many, many more pople joined the download queue in the meantime. :)
i think its definitely my location, anyway i finished the download in 2 hours. still happy i could play on launch xd
