I wonder if this will be released in a usable and playable form before gaming technology (inclusive) makes Cyberpunk obsolete?
We purchase top end gear to play and enjoy our gaming entertainment on and are often stymied because of the time it takes to produce a quality game. Players purchase two 27" or 32" GSync monitors for gameplay at (WQHD) 144hz (or better) to sport on your 2080-TI Founders card. At game release dates, they are still based on 2 to 3 years (or older) programming technology.
With Cyberpunk pushed back, presumable to fix graphical, story line, quest and other obvious finger pointers, the game environment will be another 9 months older. The Next-Gen hardware will also be released around this time and this game will be several generations behind the hardware.
I have reservations about the game anyways with all the forum hate and general dis-satisfaction of all the negative hype. I would never purchase a game before release, and am wondering even further about the actual ability to take advantage of my hardware.
Time will tell. I have a negative feeling about this game, but they have come through in the past. Since nothing is set in stone for the requirements, perhaps this is the reason. They are updating game world code with more current software technology. One could hope
