There are different types of places that are quite shining with Ray Tracing on their entrance, but most doors are locked. The arcade machines are ornaments, you can hack notebooks, food machines, terminals, turrets, cameras, but a palce for gambling? no.

I don´t remember the name of the dev during an interview, explanation on how Cyberpunk 2077 was going to have most places accessible, because this and that. I think he was the one later bullshiting that most players never finished The Witcher 3, that a huge quest is not necessary, something like that.

So much bullshit in 2020.

I have my positive points towards the game, but to be happy with what it is, without any criticism, it's not my way.
There are definitely places that LOOK like they should have gambling going on - e.g. Pachinco bars etc. But unfortunately, despite you being able to interact with a vast amount of vending machines, apparently interacting with a "game" was too much to code...?

I would have expected there to at least be a one-armed bandit you could use (i..e. a pokie machine), but there isn't.

Not that I'd use them much, because there are better things to do in this game than simulate something so mundane... unless we could hack the machines of course... So yeah it's definitely a shame they aren't in there.

Even the first Fallout had pokie machines.
it was a sure bet to purchase the game early with the track record of CDPR. We, who did, gambled and lost.

Leave it to modders to do real in game gambling. The community has brilliant minds that can pretty much do anything. It's just a shame we need our modders to fix base game function.

and Shenmue had working arcade games and some sort of pool table game 20 years prior.

There is no gambling in the game. Before the release, I thought that the world would be full of exciting things. CD Projekt Red didn't even add car customization, so thinking of casino mechanics is worthless. I like gambling and like the casino in GTA V and was mad when I found out there isn't any casino in Cyberpunk 2077. It isn't so hard to create gambling websites, so I don't think adding it to a video game is hard. For example, the software for my gambling website is made by bossaction.com, and all I had to do was promote my website.
Considering the dark and gritty areas in Night City, you would assume that gambling dens, bars, strip joints, and black market body mod chop shops would be all over the place.

Unfortunately, that level of immersion would have been foregone due to lack of development time. There is hope that either CDPR add more access to buildings in the city and add those kinds of interactions and NPCs, or that modders will receive access to more robust tools that enable them to do such things.

If those are things people want, it's going to depend on the continued engagement with the game by people. I'm personally interested in trying my hand at some modding myself.

There's a lot that needs to be added to make Night City feel like the living ecosystem that its facade implies, but I'm hopeful that will happen over time. It might come alongside paid DLC in the future, or even in a larger expansion which adds a new layer of immersion throughout the world.

A few things I'd love to see are challenge mode missions which require you to take out targets, or steal something, within a certain time and under certain conditions etc.

I see a lot of potential in CP2077, and I hope CDPR and modders continue to polish and add content to it.
I'm new to this forum and it's great to see such an active community discussing Cyberpunk 2077! Regarding your question, yes, there are gambling and bar-room type games in the game. You can find some of these games in various bars throughout Night City. There are also casinos where you can try your luck at the slots or play some card games. By the way, I stumbled upon a website that might interest you if you're into online gambling. It's turkcasino.net, a Turkish casino site that offers a wide range of games, including slots, roulette, and poker. They have some cool bonuses and promotions too, so it might be worth checking out if you're looking for some online entertainment.

Excuse me, but exactly where are these gambing places? Because I cannot find a single thread or topic about them online, apart from the already known references - but zero option to participate - to gambling inside the game.

I have completed the game 3 times, and I haven't found any gambling facilities.

Night City has such a rich and immersive setting, and it's natural to expect places like gambling dens, bars, and strip joints to be scattered throughout its dark and gritty streets. It's a shame that development constraints may have limited the inclusion of these features initially, but I'm hopeful that CD Projekt Red will continue to enhance the game and make Night City feel like a living, breathing ecosystem.
