I had this happen on a file . Win defender was changing it or something. Everytime i played the game I had to verify files

I'm pretty sure those little downloads are the pre-requisit files the game needs.
and yeah I see them d/l every time I run verify/repair too.

So does this mean we should keep clicking verify until it stops giving us 29MB downloads?

I would browse the files and see which one is changed during download then check the file to see if its maybe read only if not make it so. So the pc can't change it. Or maybe try on another drive. It sounds like it's being changed after download.

No, seemingly just ignore it.

If only I could, but GOG crashes when I launch the game every time I restart my computer and I always need to verify the game's files to make it work again. I really wish I could find how to fix it

Now, that is a serious issue. Wow.

We don't even have a list of all the issues in the first place, I think most even speaking out about too many problems or sharing video evidence of false advertisement were banned.

I would suggest a thread where you tell your specs, but with all the game's issues, it's not ever going to be easy to figure out.
