First it was in beta, then alpha, now it's pre-alpha. Next outraged youtuber will claim it's somewhere before the invention of greek alphabet, right? Anything as long as people click the video.
Yeah, everything is an outrage and the doom of civilization. If you don't agree, you're automatically labeled an idiot, a shill, or some other ridiculous name.

Whatever.

It's a game.

It's got problems.
Some stuff is definitely missing.
They promised more, delivered less.
That is not cool.

But, It's fun, too.
It looks pretty good.

So...

Buy it.
Or don't.

Play it.
Or don't.

Like it.
Or hate it.

If you're raging against it, if you're beyond angry, then congratulations. Your life is pretty damn good if a buggy video game is your biggest gripe and problem.

ccrashh: Serious question. I was going to get the pre-release package (it was something like $110 Cdn) - but thought better of it. Now I'm wondering if I should wait for a price drop, given all the issues I've read about.

Are the issues that bad, or is this typical hyperbole - and people who love to pile on things?
If you are playing on PC....Wait till they get the next patch out, then buy it.

Hopefully by then all the ctd's will be fixed.
Currently this game has less redeeming qualities than that of a Knock Chinese console with those bizarre games that look like the real thing but a played on Playstation controller looking things and only 2 buttons work.

For that money, you can find a million better things to buy.
It is as bad as they say. I was there.
Short answer - no, it's not worth the price of AAA title.

And no, patches will not fix it either, don't get fooled by that idea.

It's a great game. I don't think you should get it just yet, though. Keep an eye on patches and DLC. When it gets more polish you should grab it. Your patience might even reward you with a discount. I spent $80 CDN and I definitely don't regret it.

VisualBlack: As a Canadian from Toronto living in etobicoke ( have to say to not think i'm lying to you) it is worth 80 dollars. CDPR is still fixing the game as they promised.
You might be close to me. I live by Rogers and Old Weston.

What? Videogames don't increase in value over time?
What a shocking revelation.

Seriously, though. What's so great about this game? Please elaborate.

There are sales happening all the time on GoG. What I meant by that was if he waits a few patches not only would he get a more polished version of the game, he would probably be able to catch a sale, too.
