I'm not about to upgrade just to play one game (rent comes before gaming), so wondering how this game would fare on my system with 1080, 5700X, 16GB RAM, and NVMe SSD.

Also, controller support is quite important to me so that I don't get RSI from the keyboard and mouse, and I enjoy sitting back in my comfy chair to play on my TV screen (don't really care if I have to play at 1080p, TV can do 4k but I don't expect my 1080 GPU to handle that).

Thanks.
Your GPU might struggle a little but it is within the minimum specs .

When the game first came out I had it running on a 1660 ti, and performance was bearable but not fantastic (40 - 50 fps @ 1080p) with most settings on medium - low.

e2a : Having said that performance of the current version (2.1) is dire on my 3060ti but I'm pretty sure it's a bug, I've seen others complaining about the same thing on the steam forums.

I guess you could always buy the game and refund if performance is unacceptable.

Update:

I fixed my performance issues, it probably won't affect you unless you are running linux.

Controller implementation is probably one of the best when it comes to PC games.
It’s good…but not with 2.1. The controller schemes are bugged. For instance the classic control scheme uses a double tap to dodge. You now remained crouched after a dodge. So, yes it is good…definitely not the best like the other poster said., but good. Just know it’s bugged atm.

Hmm, thanks. Probably one to wait for as it's frequently on sale at £24.99, no killer deals better than this that I've seen yet. I may be able to get hold of a 2080ti at some point so that would certainly help with beefier games like this, but I don't play that many AAA games really.
