This has been on my mind ever since multiplayer was announced.

I want to "support the CD PROJEKT GROUP with 100% of the money" but if each platform will have their own multiplayer community (and a lot of GOG games do!) then buying a Steam copy instead is a no-brainer, simply due to the much bigger playerbase.

I really hope CDPR clarifies this before release.

We don't know yet and the multiplayer is still a long time away. First they'll finish 2077, then the free DLCs, then the single player content.

Only then will the multiplayer come. So probably 1+ years after.
