I am playing on a TV capable of 4K 60hz (which I use on pretty much any other game, on different systems, works like a charm). Yet in Cyberpunk 2077, I either have to deal with horrendous screen tearing, or a 30fps sync option at most, as I only have a choice between "off", "30", or 3 other settings that are even lower (why the f**k is there even a "7" option, who would want that...)?!?
I understand that my graphics settings might be a tad ambitious atm, and thought that it may be why the option isn't even proposed (although I have never seen any other game do that). But even if I lower them to something silly, that would guarantee me fps way over 60, I still don't get the option.
Hopefully this is something that will be fixed soon...
Cheers,

Cheers,
If you turn off vsync, there should be a option to limit your framerate. That is what i do.

Not sure if this helps, but try to turn on the maximum FPS and use the slider instead.

Unfortunately it doesn't really help...
But I'd be curious to know if it's the same for everyone? Is that normal that there is no vsync at 60??

I have a 144Hz monitor and my vsync choices are 144, 72, 48 and 36.
It really does sound strange that you're limited to 30...

Your monitor is set to have a refresh rate of 60Hz in Windows settings, right? It's usually by default, but you'll never know.
what bothers me much more is that freesync does not seem to work. its activated everywhere and usually works in games, but i get bad tearing with vsync off.
vsync on does not seem to hurt gameperformance or induce noticable lag though, so thats cool.

Hey, thanks for confirming this should work... After your reply, I double-checked, and I don't know how but my display was set to 30Hz in Windows (it's a PC I rarely use on that screen, which is hooked up to consoles, so didn't realize it before)... Thanks for pointing it out, and problem solved! :)
Good to hear, that it works now :)
The device I'm using has vsynch at 60, but the HDR option and vsync at 120 (for 1080 - 4k is 60) are both unavailable.
