mitcharts: I'm in the same boat as others here in this thread:
Opened a ticket on December 16th and to this day I still got no response from them. And the sale is already over.

I know they may have a lot on their plate right now (I can personally relate to a situation like this) but it is still really frustrating when you are on the "customer side" of things.
The one thing I would be glad of, is an actual answer from a human being and not a machine... and to be frank I haven't even got any of the automated replies since Christmas Eve. It's the radio silence that hurts the most.

The "radio silence" is the consequence of processing all the support tickets consecutively -- that's just the nature of it, as bad as it may seem for the customer.

happystuffing: Let's start a refund thread shall we?

I took up GOG on their refund policy. Instead I was given a canned email question if I would accept store credit instead. After giving them a hard NO, I would like a refund to my VISA, they have been radio silent.

This was two days ago.

Anyone else feel like they are being screwed over on this whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience? Or lack thereof..
I made my request December 16th, Answered right away that I wanted a refund to my original payment method.
I've heard NOTHING since then. 2 weeks lol

It's been 3 weeks today. Still haven't heard anything from CDPR. Nothing except the automated first message to which I replied.
This is getting ridiculous.
Finally 2021 has come with the refund for the game in my bank account.

Waiting now for the real launch of the game (enhanced edition?...)
Today it happened, I got the confirmation for my refund request and the game was removed from my account.
The charge back will take some additional time but that's fine.

Just hang in there.

Congrats, I'm glad some are able to get their refunds, the attitudes thrown at people just lied to, and daring to be upset after trusting a company for over a decade, is astounding.

[January 7th]
Today is the day GOG responded. They acknowledged the long wait time, said sorry and confirmed the refund.
Got a message from PayPal seconds after that I received the refund from GOG.

Good luck to the rest of you.
That's it, I made the ticket on december 15 and I just got my refund.
24 days later and it has been processed:
Ticket creation date - 14 Dec 2020
Human response date - 7 Jan 2021

Luckily I foresaw this and got the RDR2 and few things with what I would have gotten with the refund during all the xmas sales.

RDR2 is amazingly well done in regards to immersion, choices, and outcomes. You made a great choice. I'm glad it finally came through.
Yeah. Refunds from Dec 14 onwards started getting processed by human support two days ago. Finally got mine today.
Expect them soon. Good luck everybody. If you don't get them in the next couple of days, check your ticket status! The replies are also there.
also in the same boat as you people. automated replies and well radiosilence in that way.
getting fed up with it to be perfectly honest.
any other means available to rock the boat ?
So the average waiting time for money refund is 3 weeks?
seems to be , will keep you dear people updated of course. hang in there all.

Got mine today, 3 weeks exactly since requested.

Used the wallet funds to buy 4 older games instead.

Outside of keeping my account live for updates on purchased games, that’s me done with GOG in so far as buying anything further from them.

For anyone as frustrated/disappointed as I have been with the whole Cyberpunk/GOG/CDPR refund debacle, I truly empathise and hope you get your money returned very soon.

Remember, there are no ‘safe’ games publishers. And never again pre-order a AAA title.
